LED v. traditional Christmas lights. What do you prefer?
My vote is for traditional.
LED use very little energy and are much safer to use but they are too large, ugly, and light up an entire room because they are so bright. I've never had a problem I couldn't handle with my traditional lights. Replacing a light bulb isn't that big of a deal. The tree looks nice with a soft glow to it.
I'm sure there are pro's and con's to both. What is your opinion?
Pfft. Thanks Monkey. I feel so much better now.

we have the traditional lights on our prelit tree. i don't like the led lights for inside use. there is a park in my city that uses both kinds, so it is easier to compare i like the traditional because they seem to subtly glow instead of radiate - the leds are so bright that sometimes they just seem to be so bright they all become one color.however, there is this mall along the highway near my home who use led lights on their trees outside - its is really pretty to drive by and i am sure they appreciate the energy they save because they have over 100 trees they light up. the down side to it is that all of the trees are blue or white
